Join us as we love on the Havelock Neighborhood Community at Havelock Park! We will be flippin’ up some fluffy pancakes for breakfast, playing yard games, listening to music and playing on the playground together! There will even be an End of Summer Memory Maker Giveaway that each family can enter to win! As the Serve Team, we will get to connect with families, hear their stories, spend time with, encourage, pray and love on the community! We are believing for a spiritual awakening in the Havelock Neighborhood! This serve is family friendly.

Join us as we offer FREE CAR WASHES! We will be paying for car washes at Dirt Sux and connecting with the community! As the Serve Team we will get to welcome people in, put the coins in the machines and wash and dry cars to anyone who comes by! We are believing for connection and opportunities to hear stories and pray with families who are coming by!

Join us as we connect with our local First Responders! We will be taking time to connect with the first responders of North Lincoln. As the Serve Team we get to bring them Donuts, serve them Cold Brew coffee and a giant “Thank You” card from our City Kids classes. We then get to spend time connecting with our responders, hearing their stories, asking questions, encouraging and praying over them as they serve our community! We are honored to get to build relationships with our First Responders at LPD and LFR. This serve is family friendly.

Join us as we offer FREE LAUNDRY MORNING! We will be paying for loads of laundry at Laundry Land, and connecting with the community! As the Serve Team we will get to help carry in baskets as needed, put the coins in the machines for people, connect with families and hear their stories, spend time with, encourage and pray for families as well. We will have bibles and SOAPD guides available to handout as we believe for a spiritual awakening in the people of Lincoln! We will also have Laundry Soap and Dryer sheets if they’re forgotten. This serve is City Youth friendly.

Join us as we paint the inside and outside of the renovated Fresh Start building! Fresh Start has been working hard getting their building renovated and now it’s time to make it look welcoming! As the Serve Team, we will get to prepare the walls, paint both the inside and parts of the outside of the building. If we get done with painting, there will even be an opportunity to organize and help Fresh Start get closer to reopening! We are believing for a deeper connection with the staff and volunteers at Fresh Start as we spend time with them, hearing how they got connected and why they’re passionate about people!

Join us as we deliver items to various families across Lincoln! As the Serve Team we will get to pick up larger items (like beds, dressers, ect) from the Families Together office in Walton NE and take them to families across Lincoln! We will get to connect with families and hear their stories as we bring necessity items into their homes! We are believing for connection with these families! Trucks or large vehicles are required for this serve. This is a City Youth friendly serve.

Join us as we help organize and sort donations at the Foster Care Closet! As the Serve Team we will get to sort donations, organize the “store” front, and prepare the space for Foster Care families to come in. We will get to pray over the space and items for the children that will receive them as well as build relationships with the staff and volunteers of the Foster Care Closet. This is a family friendly serve. 

Join us as we give the outside of the Lincoln Pregnancy Center a facelift! As the Serve Team we will be painting the outside railings and the entry stairs of the center! We will get to connect with the staff and volunteers of the Pregnancy Center, hear their stories, encourage and pray with them. We are believing for lasting and impactful connections here.

Join us as we build the warriors at TFL a place to rest between sets!! As the Serve Team we will be building and upholster a seating area for gym goers to sit on. We will get to pray over the gym and the future gym members while we are there. When we finish making the seating area, we will get to help TFL with a summer deep clean of their space so that their area can shine! This is a City Youth friendly event. 

Join us as we serve the Norwood Park Elementary neighborhood!! As the Serve Team we will get to partner with Norwood Elementary and work in their gardens and flower beds! We will get to pull weeds and help maintain their beautiful grounds area to help keep it ready for the school year in the fall! We will get to pray over the grounds and over the kids who call Norwood home! We will also get to connect with various employees and volunteers of Norwood as they come by. This is a Family Friendly serve.

Join us as we serve the Norwood Park Elementary families! As the Serve Team we will get to partner with the Norwood Elementary teachers and help them prepare for the incoming Kindergarten families! We will assemble all new family orientation packets at Logan Ave, pray over each folder and the family that will receive it and package them up so that teacher can easily access them as they prepare their classrooms in August! This serve is intended for those who are unable to be outside for long periods of time or do physical labor.
