Good Friday (April 3) and Easter (April 5)
Statistics show that people will say yes if invited to church by a friend. So who are we going to invite!
Keep INVITING to hub groups!
Ice Breaker (fun + low-pressure)
If you could have a lifetime supply of one thing, what would it be?
What condiments do you put on your hot dog?
Scripture & Discussion
Sermon Title: Gold from Golgotha (week 4) “One Last Drink”
Key Scriptures: John 19:28-30, Exodus 12:21-22 (read together)
Brief Recap: Jesus’ statement “I am thirsty” revelas both His physical suffering and a deeper spiritual reality — He experienced complete separation fro mthe Father for the first time. That thirst points to the human loging we all have to be seen, known and loved. Too often, we try to satisfy that need with temporary, natural things, but only Jesus truly fulfills it. Because of the cross, we no longer have to live thirsty, because “It is finished!”
Discussion
You don’t need to hit every question. (#1 is always a great 1st question)
What stood out to you from this week’s message? (this question is to help them navigate what the Lord highlighted to them)
What is something in your life you need to declare “it is finished” over?
Who can you invite into this with you for accountability and prayer?
Prayer Time
This would be a good week to break up into small groups to pray.
