Tuesday Morning Prayer
At Mercy City, we always have been and always will be a house of prayer. Every Tuesday, we gather together at 6am at our Broadcast location (6224 Logan Ave) & our Seward location (139 S 6th St) for corporate prayer. Everyone is invited and encouraged to come as we join together in unity to pray together!
What is Prayer & Fasting?
As we pray & fast, we remove distractions by increasing the frequency of personal and corporate prayer and creating a greater intimacy with our Father.
This elevates our reliance on God and expectation for Him to move in our lives and the church body.
Acts 14:23
Psalm 35

Why do we pray together?
Prayer is how we engage to the Heart of God personally & corporately!
We LOVE to pray corporately! The bible says that God commands his blessing in places of unity. Corporate prayer is an opportunity for that unity!

Why do we fast together?
Fasting is us removing anything that distances us from the Heart of God. We fast in community to hold each other accountable in our focus on God.

Prayer & Fasting
We participate in Prayer & Fasting 2 times a year, in January and in August. We believe what the bible says in Psalm 133, that where there is unity that God commands His blessing. So we want to be gathered in places of unity, praying & fasting together. Setting aside a natural distraction to create room in the spiritual for God to move.
